BuiltBy2 Menus

Service terms

A straightforward agreement for a straightforward service.

These business-to-business terms explain what BuiltBy2 provides, what the venue approves, and how billing, support and cancellation work.

Supplier and support

The supplier is BuiltBy2 Ltd, company number 17153424, registered in England and Wales. Our address is 44 Stokesay Drive, Cheadle, Staffordshire ST10 1YU. BuiltBy2 Ltd is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added.

Support is available at support@builtby2.co.uk, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm UK time excluding bank holidays. Our normal response target is within two working days. An urgent incorrect live price or allergen issue reported during support hours receives an initial response the same working day where possible.

Plans and renewal

The annual option is £200 paid upfront for the agreed initial menu build, setup and first 12 months of service. It renews at £99 per year from the first anniversary. We send a renewal reminder at least one month before the annual payment.

The monthly option has no separate setup charge. It is £20 per month for the first 12 months, which is the initial term, then £10 per month on a rolling basis. We send a reminder at least one week before each monthly payment.

Stripe is our normal billing system. Available payment methods are shown securely by Stripe and may include Bacs Direct Debit and card. We do not receive or store full card or bank-account details.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation requests can be sent to support@builtby2.co.uk. Annual customers can turn off renewal before payment. An annual renewal is refunded when cancellation is requested within 14 calendar days after it is taken. After the monthly initial term, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

The first £200 annual payment is refunded in full if cancellation is received before the agreed build begins. If work has begun, BuiltBy2 may retain the reasonable value of completed work and direct, non-recoverable customer-specific costs, with a written breakdown. These terms do not remove either party's legal rights.

What the venue approves

The venue supplies and approves its official menu, prices, service times, business details, dietary labels, allergen wording and brand assets. The venue remains responsible for their accuracy, legality and ongoing approval, including content it edits or publishes through the manager workspace. The service does not replace the venue's own allergen procedures or customer conversations.

What BuiltBy2 provides

BuiltBy2 builds and brands the agreed initial menu, provides a review before launch, hosts and maintains the menu platform while the service is paid, and provides the manager workspace and standard support. Platform faults and BuiltBy2 transcription errors are corrected without a managed content-change charge.

Domains and data on exit

A venue's existing domain remains its property and under its control. On request, BuiltBy2 supplies the current menu content and public business details in a reasonable portable format. The request should be made before cancellation or within 30 days after service ends. This export does not include BuiltBy2 source code or platform software.

Later content changes

Routine menu editing is owner self-service. If a venue asks BuiltBy2 to make later content changes, the work and price are agreed in writing before it begins.

Effective 1 September 2026.
